Abstract

Bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) is a wild plant that is better known as a nuisance plant (weed) in gardens and fields. Bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) has traditional properties, namely to treat infectious diseases of the skin such as boils and wounds caused by bacteria. Staphylococcus aureus is a Gram positive bacterium which is a normal flora in humans and can be pathogenic that causes infection. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of the methanolic extract of bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus at concentrations of 10%, 20% and 30%. This research is a laboratory experimental study to determine the diameter of antibacterial inhibition. The method used to test the antibacterial activity in this study was the agar diffusion method and chloramphenicol as a positif control. Extraction method is done by maceration method using methanol solvent. The results of the inhibition test with extract concentrations of 10%, 20% and 30% could inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus with the average diameter of the inhibition zones being 7,3 mm, 8,1 mm, 8,9 mm and the positive control chloramphenicol was 29,3 mm. From the results above, it can be concluded that the methanolic extract of Bandotan leaves (Ageratum conyzoides L.) has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus.

Abstract

Decubitus is a problem in post-stroke patients that has yet to be resolved. The risk of pressure sores can be overcome with neuroperfusion massage therapy and bed rest. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of neuroperfusion massage and bed transfer on the risk of pressure sores in post-stroke patients. The design of this research is Quasy-Experiment with pre post test control group design. The population of all post-stroke patients treated at the Arosbaya Health Center in the Bangkalan Madura area was 30 people. A sample of 28 stroke patients was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The independent variable is neuroperfusion massage and bed transfer, the dependent variable is the risk of pressure sores. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that after the intervention of neuroperfusion massage (p value 0.000) and bed transfer (0.000) there was a reduction in the risk of pressure sores in post-stroke patients. Neuroperfusion massage and bed transfer are effective in preventing the risk of pressure ulcers in post-stroke patients. It is hoped that health workers can apply bed transfer therapy with neuroperfusion massage so that pressure sores can be handled optimally.

Abstract

Medical record information is confidential which must be protected from leakage of data/information in accordance with the medical code of ethics and applicable laws and regulations. The release of medical information must follow the applicable procedures, this aims to protect the hospital from further demands. This study aims to describe the suitability of SOPs for releasing medical information to third parties, types of requests for release of medical information and constraints in releasing medical information using fishbone diagrams. This research is a literature review study using a sample of 11 journals. Search articles using the Google Scholar database. The results of the study found that the percentage of compliance with SOPs for releasing medical information to third parties in hospitals was the percentage of releases that were in accordance with SOPs between 66%-82%, while the precentage that did not match the SOPs was between 18%-34%. The types of requests for release of medical information are for the purposes of visum et repertum, insurance and education. Constraints in releasing medical information to third parties in hospitals using fishbone diagrams are mostly found in Man, especially in patients/patient families do not bring complete requirements.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a new disease that causes infection in the human respiratory tract and has a fairly high transmission rate. The problem related to this disease is the lack of public awareness in implementing a healthy lifestyle for the prevention and transmission of COVID-19. One way to gain knowledge and insight regarding the application of a healthy lifestyle is to organize health promotion through visual media and print media that are distributed to patients in the Cibogo Community Health Center, Subang Regency. Health promotion that is intensified through visual media and print media is expected to encourage people to capture, understand and remember the messages conveyed in the media, so that lifestyles can change according to science. This study uses a quantitative approach in which the calculation results will be described descriptively. There were 94 questionnaires distributed, each of which consisted of 13 statements. Based on research findings, health promotion through digital media attracts more public attention through print media. In addition, quality of life, in this study, is public awareness in implementing health protocols and implementing them in daily life.
